................................from sunny Portugal, so welcome to any new members I may have missed; Happy Birthday to anyone who`s had a birthday since we`ve been away, and apologies in advance for the amount of time it will take me to catch up.

We had a really wonderful two weeks in the Algarve, which we last visited over 27 years ago, when our sons were small. One of the best things was our pool - accessed by 8 very shallow steps, which meant I could get in and out with only a little help from Nick, so I did a lot of swimming.

Food and drinks were astonishingly cheap - so naturally we did our bit to help the Portuguese economy.

It`s the first time we`ve flown since I was diagnosed with RA, so we asked for airport assistance, and it was excellent - went without a hitch :priority through every queue and check-point, and pick of the seats on the plane. And a VERY HANDSOME young man assisting me at Faro Airport - oooh, he was nice!

Coming down to earth now, with lots of washing and ironing, but we really did have a good time, and I certainly felt the benfit of little to do, and all day in which to do it.

Hope all are well,

Take care,

Kathleen x

Welcome back Kathleen, glad you had a lovely time.

Have you already booked your next holiday to Faro then, requesting the assistance of the same handsome chap? Love
